Take a look below at the clever ways and you could potentially save more!

1. Check out the Sales Page

There is a permanent sales page on topman.com which lists all the latest clothing that has been reduced.

2. See if there are any Topman Promo Codes

Throughout the year we have seen that Topman release some voucher codes that anybody can use.

These have included free delivery, 20% off everything and more reductions too.

We’ve written a whole chapter on promo codes so make sure you read it and check out our savings section where we will list any current ones.

3. Check out the Savings Section in this Guide

Just to make things super easy, we’ve listed the latest offers, deals and promo codes at the top of our page in the savings section.

This is regularly updated with some of the best offers, sales and deals that Topman offer.

Off course you get the latest new lines, fashion tips and exclusive offers too so it’s well worth it.

5. See the Hidden Deals & Offers Page

Did you know that there is a Topman deals and offers page.

It’s not available from the home page so it’s a little hidden away buy you can find it here.

The Student Squirrel is good at sniffing out these types of pages!

They list multibuy deals such as 2 tees for £12 and 3 for £7 on socks.

6. Get Free Delivery

There is nothing more frustrating than finding some bargains, getting to the online checkout and then finding there is a big charge for delivery.

Luckily this isn’t an issue here as it’s possible to get free standard delivery at Topman for orders over £50

If you get it delivered to a store then it is free for orders under £50.

Plus all return are free which is a nice touch and there are options for express and Parcel Shop delivery too.

7. Shop in a Big Sale for Biggest Discounts

If you’re looking to buy a big item at Topman like a brand new wardrobe then hanging on for one of the big sales throughout the year could save you big

We’ve written a bespoke chapter on this but throughout the year these sales happen like clock work and have the biggest discounts.

They include:

  • Black Friday & Cyber Monday
  • Christmas and January Sales
  • Spring & Easter Sales

3. Is there a Myprotein UNiDAYS, NUS or Student Beans discount?

There are many ways to get a student discount in the UK in 2019 but 3 of the biggest schemes are Unidays, NUS Extra and Student Beans.

We often get asked if there is a Myprotein relationship with each of these providers so we’ve had a look into it and here are the answers.

The Unidays Myprotein Discount

So the fab news is that there is a My Protein UNiDAYS student discount. Hurrah.

The great news is that Unidays is free to join, you just need an institutional email address (ie one that ends in .ac.uk).

You can then get a special promo code when you login to use at myprotein.com.

Is there a Myprotein NUS Discount?

There is a special NUS discount but you must have a NUS Extra card.

For those students that don’t have one (and they do cost £12/year) you can always join Unidays for free and get the discount that way!

Good to know though!

Are there Student Beans Discounts?

Student Beans have missed out here as Myprotein isn’t included in their affiliations in the UK.

Not to worry though, we still found 8 ways to save for students, just check out the previous chapter!

4. Promo Codes, Vouchers & Discounts

Voucher codes have taken the online world by storm and we always recommend double checking the available Myprotein promo codes as they can sometimes have a bigger reduction than the official student discount.

The best place to check is our easy savings section at the top of the page as we list all the current general Myprotein discount codes there.

We’ve also spotted that there is a special voucher codes page on myprotein.com. We have noticed though that not all the codes are on there though so be careful.

Previous promo codes have included:

  • 35% off
  • 30% off
  • Free delivery

4. Myprotein Sales Diary & Alerts

One of the best ways for students and everyone for that matter is when there is a big Myprotein sale.

The biggest sales happen around the same time each year. Check the dates below as if one if coming up it might be best to hold on.

We keep our squirrel eyes open so any big sales will be in our  fabulous savings section. Take a look and see how much you can save.

Black Friday & Cyber Monday

xxx go big on Black Friday and Cyber Monday and usually release a voucher code to get 30% off everything. This is double the normal student discount so is really worth waiting for.

Boxing Day & January Sales

There are some big sales on around Christmas. Usually they start a couple of days before the 25th, then on Boxing Day there are further reductions and even bigger ones nearer New Year and January.

We recommend that if there is something you want then get it as soon as it’s in the sale as it might sell out.

Spring Mid-season & Easter Sales

Around mid March xxx have a mid-season sale and also something for Easter too.

We’ve found that they have a good 50% sale on selected items, and then add additional discounts of 20% on sale items so you can get up to 70% off. This is one of THE best times for students to bag a bargain.

7. More About the Store

The health and fitness industry in the UK is now worth over £20billion per annum, and more of us than ever are turning to gyms, workout routines and nutritionally-balanced diets to enhance our lifestyles and give or physical and mental health a boost.

As a result, the vitamin and nutrition market has blossomed, and consumer demand has swung towards supplements and workout enhancers that aren’t the old-fashioned steroids of days past.

MyProtein is one such firm, and rather than selling third-party products, they formulate, manufacture and distribute their own products online.

Based in Cheshire, MyProtein offers an unrivalled range of sports nutrition products through its website, including protein powders, supplements, bars, vitamins, nutritionally-balanced snacks, and now, a large range of sportswear clothing for both genders and a range of specific sports and workouts.

The sports nutrition market is becoming crowded, but MyProtein breaks barriers down by focusing on quality and product development themselves.

This is a vigorous process. First, the in-house design team formulate the products based on the latest relevant scientific findings – and never include any fillers or unnecessary ingredients, keeping things as pure as possible.

All ingredients bought in are from only fully accredited suppliers that adhere to full European standards and legislation to ensure quality and safety. 80% of the product manufacture happens in-house at MyProtein’s own manufacturing facility, allowing them to keep prices down and quality to their own thorough standards.

Quality checking and sign-off must take place before anything leaves the factory, and MyProtein involve their own team with this as well as representatives from The Vegetarian Society and The Organic Society where required.

Products then are packaged in-house in MyProtein packets rather than bulky, expensive packaging. Dispatch happens from MyProtein’s own warehouses, of which there are three across the UK, allowing the company to offer Same Day Dispatch right up to 9pm!

Whatever it is you’re looking for to complement your healthy diet and workout regime, you’ll find it at MyProtein. To really position the brand as a Student Discount Squirrel favourite, they promise to price match the whole of their stock to any comparable product available! In such a competitive market, this is really a game changer for consumers.

MyProtein continues to dominate the sports nutrition market in the UK; and once you experience the quality of their products, you’ll soon understand why. There’s truly something for everyone, and lots available to cater for various dietary requirements, so be sure to stop by their site when searching for sports supplements.

Some Interesting History

MyProtein was founded in 2004 by Oliver Cookson, a life-long entrepreneur who started out earning his own money with paper rounds before and after school.

Leaving school at 16 with one IT GCSE, he started an apprenticeship in computing and progressed to become a full computer developer within the company he started at. Translating his web development abilities to work for himself, Cookson used up his £500 overdraft from the bank in buying web space and launched MyProtein on a mission to produce and sell only the highest quality of sports nutrition without compromise to capitalise on consumer demand and beat competitors.

His flair for business saw him win several awards, including a place in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100, the Institute of Directors Rising Star Award, the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award, and the Growing Business Young Company of the Year award.

In true entrepreneurship style, Cookson sold MyProtein when he felt it had gone as far as he could take it. Selling to The Hut Group for £58million, the brand changed hands and was able to expand under new leadership and with fresh investment.

It continues to dominate the sports nutrition market, and with the addition of sportswear, flourishes onward.
