Travelling either using EuroTunnel or a Ferry service, you can usually get out and stretch your legs on the Channel crossing before you reach passport control and the continent.
It’s a long trip (up to about 10-hours), but can be managed as a day venture if you’re able to sleep there and back. Hot foot it to the Eiffel Tower, Champs-Elysees and boat bars on the Seine… or just embrace your inner child and head straight to Disneyland!
