If you’re shopping for cheap shoes, you may not think to step into an Office store – but budget brand shoes are often a false economy. You need footwear every time you step outside, and so it’s important that even if you’re not forking out big for designer labels that you invest in shoes of a decent enough quality that they will last you a decent amount of time and stay looking tip-top throughout wear.

Information About Office Shoes

This is where Office fits in nicely: premium brand shoes at affordable prices. Add on a standard 10% student discount as well as free UK delivery for anyone at university, and you’ve got yourself a great deal!

Office’s sizes range from children’s collections and three through to twelve. If you struggle to find shoes that fit you in-store, we’d recommend visiting the online shop to browse the Sales section of the site: this often offers money-off promotions on items unsold in stores and there are some brilliant deals to be found. The OFFCUTS Outlet store is a haven for fashion footwear fans, and if you’re a sneaker-head, it’s worth looking into the brand’s spin-off trainer store, OFFSPRING. Whether you’re looking for sandals, flip flops, trainers, heels, boots or formalwear, Office will have something for you. If all else fails, nip in store to chat with their highly qualified staff and get your feet measured professionally so you can be sure to stay comfy no matter where it is you choose to make your footwear purchases.

Office started life as a concession in the larger Hyper store on Kensington High Street back in 1981, and the brand continues to operate in many concession spaces today. The brand name was derived from the lack of resources that the company had initially: meaning that they needed to display their stock on old office furniture due to a lack of funding for typical footwear point of sale material!

The first stand-alone Office shop opened in 1984 on Chelsea’s Kings Road and was an immediate hit despite being a little cheaper than many other retailers in the area. This popularity spread country-wide, and by 2014, there were over 100 stores outside of concessions in the UK, as well as almost 50 concessions in larger shops. Office was purchased by Tom Hunter of the West Coast Capital Group, who also owned the likes of USC and Travelodge, and in 2015, was sold to South African clothing retail specialist Truworths for a whopping £256 million!
