We get asked a lot “Does Unidays do a Topshop discount?”. Well, we can confirm that there is a Topshop Unidays discount available. The standard discount is 10% although there are periods throughout the year where it is raised to 20% off. You must validate your student status on Unidays.

The Topshop Unidays code can be used online at topshop.co.uk but can’t be used in-store as you require a valid student id card. More about this later. Oh and you can get the code at Student Beans too just in case you were wondering.

Remember though that sometimes it is possible to get bigger discounts using general voucher codes. Make sure you check out our Topshop student discount page, which has the latest updated Topshop codes and other great savings tips for students.

Luckily Unidays has made it easy to get the Unidays Topshop 10% code. Just follow these steps below and you’ll get that lovely discount:

  1. Do your shop on topshop.co.uk and add all those fantastic dresses, tops, jeans and more to your basket or shopping bag!
  2. Head to this special validation page on the TopShop website.
  3. Make sure you are logged into your Unidays account (you can also sign up here and validate your student status if you haven’t already).
  4. Generate your limited time code
  5. Enter the promo code at the check-out page and click ‘APPLY CODE’
  6. The reduction will be applied!

We’ve had a look through the terms and conditions and it looks like you can use the discount code for sale items which is fantastic. If you’re not sure then enter the code anyway and see what happens. You students get the reduction and don’t have anything to lose! However it doesn’t work on gift cards just so you know.

If you find yourself in-store then showing the Unidays app won’t get you a student discount. You do need a valid student id card. Acceptable student cards include your NUS card, NUS Totum card or your college or sixth form id.

Remember that students at college and sixth form as well as university students also qualify for myunidays.com which is excellent. Just validate your student status on their website. However, if you are still at school (up to GCSEs) then you won’t be able to get the code. Secondary school students shouldn’t despair though because our main TopShop page lists discounts such as 10% with newsletter sign-ups. Some other codes and offers we’ve seen include:

  • Get 20% off everything
  • extra 10% off first order with newsletter
  • Get 20% student discount (limited time)
  • gift cards
  • Get 20% nhs discount

If this status changes then Student Squirrel will let you students get the latest information.

By far and away the best way for students to get the biggest discounts at Topshop is when there is a sale on and as we confirmed you get the extra 10% off (student status to be validated). There are regular times throughout the year when the biggest and the best are on and we’ve listed them below. So whether it’s your first order or you’re a regular customer you can save on dresses, tops, petite, tall and maternity.

A few top tips before we start. First, there is a dedicated sales page on topshop.com that lists dedicated sales clothing so it’s always worth a look to find that bargain. Secondly, the big sales will always be advertised on their home page so if you’re not sure if there is one on then double check there.

Black Friday and Cyber Monday are now a big deal for Topshop. We saw that they usually have up to 50% selected lines but a lot of stock is included so there is a good choice. Well worth hanging on for.

Like many other similar fashion retailers, Topshop now starts their winter sale before Christmas day. There is typically big reductions of up to 50% off lots of clothing and accessories. As the sale passes Boxing Day bigger discounts are applied, sometimes up to 70%! And these continue into January. A top tip is that is something you really want and it’s in the sale then get it as it might sell out.

As Easter changes date every year the Easter sales also change. But around this time you can get some good bargains. Also mid-March is typically the Spring mid-season sales so some great discounts to be had.

For both of the May Bank Holidays Topshop has a sale. They are typically not as big as the others but there are still some great deals to be had with discounts of up to 50%.

Around the second week of June Topshop has a sale. We’ve seen some excellent reductions on dresses, swimsuits and bikinis so there is some great summer seasonal bargains to be had in your shopping bag.

We get asked these a lot…:

Is there a Topshop Unidays code?

We can confirm that there is a Topshop code.

Despite its high street presence and roots, Topshop has branched the cap between couture and the public in a way never seen before.

Introducing the latest look from fashion shows and designers in interpretations to their own collections quickly as well as working with capsule collections with high-end labels such as Red Or Dead, Markus Lupfer and Hussein Chalayan, as well as allowing only the most A-List of celebs to design ranges for them; including Kate Moss and Beyonce!

Now a household name, this amazing store continues to push boundaries with its apparel collections, both own-brand and third-party. Stores operate internationally and under franchise, and online operations are at an all-time high with delivery available to a number of countries around the world.

Despite their reputation for quick import of catwalk-trend-to-high-street, they maintain high-quality standards with all of their clothing, and so you won’t find the same ‘fast fashion’ as is becoming so common amongst other online retailers.

This goes for not just their quality craftmanship in clothing manufacture, but also their ethics: Topshop’s annual Fashion Footprint reports ensure they adhere to extremely high standards and ethical codes across their entire supply and retail chain, so you can shop guilt-free for all purchases.

The chain also listens to consumers and takes on-board feedback wherever they can, responding to customer concerns and removing overtly skinny mannequins and models from all stores back in 2015. Topshop offers a student discount of 10% in-store and online as standard, which is heartily approved by Student Discount Squirrel!

If you don’t have a store near you, you may well find a flagship one when next on a city trip. London Oxford Street is the chain’s biggest shop (and well known for being a favoured location of model agency scouts, so don’t go on a hangover!), but other huge concept stores can be found in Leeds, Liverpool, Belfast and New York. These bigger stores hold exclusive ranges and loads of concessions you won’t find anywhere else, so they’re always worth a browse.

Whatever the occasion, Topshop have you covered, with petite, tall, maternity and leisurewear ranges alongside their standard stock. It’s a one-stop-fashion-shop and once you’ve been, you shouldn’t need to shop anywhere else! And there is a fashion footprint policy which is good to know. “If you’re looking for a prom dress or some new clothes for your holidays then this is a great time to buy!”

So Topshop has some amazing world-beating fashion. And we’ve seen that it’s possible to make some great savings. But the squirrel doesn’t stop there. We’ve had a look into some great individual deals at this fashion behemoth.

“I’m a mouse… DUH!”. Seeing you through basic Halloween and fancy dress costumes since, well, forever, and now glamming up any festival ensemble, rhinestone car ears make for the perfect hair accessory to add a touch of sparkle and playfulness.

This headband is Topshop’s own accessory brand, Freedom, and is sturdier and better quality than cheaper alternatives you may find on the high street. Easy, effortless and cute. What more could you want?

You’ve likely seen these on the back of other people’s phones before and not known what they’re called… and they’re Pop Sockets! These stick-on 3D buttons attach to the back of your smartphone to give you a better grip when holding your phone, to lessen the chances of you dropping it and smashing it, which we all know is a nightmare when it happens.

These Pop Sockets can be pulled to extend out for more grip and will help you keep your phone safer as well as to get you the best possible selfie angles. Priorities, eh?

When you just can’t be bothered to carefully curate an outfit, this top makes for the perfect solution. 100% viscose, half patterned with bold black and white stripes, and half with large polka dots, it can be worn as a statement piece with everything else plain and still stand out!

You don’t need to do anything else special with your outfit and will still look great – or if you want to accentuate boldness more, add in some brightly coloured accessories!
